The new version of iTunes allows you to organise your home screens outside of your iPhone on the desktop. This is one of those superb features you never knew how you managed without before!

On a Mac if you select whilst holding down the cmd button you can move multiple icons at a time. Drage the icons to the home screen of your choice on the right hand side to move icons between screes, brilliant!

Simply click on your ipod icon and click applications.

The latest version of iTunes 9.0 now features integration into Facebook which means social networking has at last reached the music platform mainstream.

Apple have released a new version of the iPhone OS which is available for free to those who already have v3.0. The upgrade includes improvements such as App Store genius which recommends apps based on previous downloads, organise home screens in iTunes and automatic genius playlist.

The Spotify iPhone application will be free but requires a premium accont. Users will be able to cache a certain amount of music to their iPhone when web access is unavailable.

I wonder if Google Insights for search might be able to shed some light on this? Well there seems to be a clear winner. Want to find out who?. There is a clear winner by a significant factor, of course it is the iPod. With stats like this you have to wonder why Microsoft are even trying.

Yes it's true, Evernote has totally negated the need for bookmarks. For me they have always felt inadequate but until I started using Evernote there hasn't quite been a solution to the dilema of organising information from the web in a satisfactory way.

Evernote is a slick capable application both desktop and on the iPhone.

The imagecache module for Drupal has to be one of the most superb available. Some of the power of imagechace is in the capability to generate on the fly derivative images at a module level.

I just wanted to share this snippet which creates within php or a module an instance of a preset imagecache image.
