Using Drupal comes with many benefits, one of which is that as bugs are located they are fixed by the active developer community. These incrimental fixes are called patches. They mean that you do not have to wait for a full release of a contributed moudle or Drupall core before you benefit from the fix.

If you have command line access to a LAMP server installation of drupal it is possible to apply these patches by following the guidelines on the Drupal Site.
