We first considered buying an all terrain pram because we were always wanting to be in the outdoors either running or walking . Once we had a child we wanted to continue doing all the activities we could, at least maybe to a lesser level. Whilst living in New Zealand we were introduced to Moutain Buggys by friends who had kids and also we keen outdoor enthusiast.

Mountain Buggys are perhaps one of the most refined all terrain buggies on the market. They are more expensive than many others but are considered by many to be the market leaders. Also of note are the popular Phil and Ted prams but often these are chosen more for their adaptability once you ahve children over their off road attributes.

The Mountain Buggy Urban easily transforms between being a cot and a buggy with a seat which is a perfect combination. When your baby is new born I would recommend using the optional extra cot. Whilst perfectly good, we did find that as our daughter approached 6 months old .
