I have recently elected to cancel my subscription to Amazon DVD Rentals. I just didn't have time to watch the films so there seemed little point. The system is highly automated and cancellation seemed pretty straight forward. A couple of days after successfully cancelling I got another DVD, strange I thought, but how nice, a last film to watch.
Yesterday I got an unpleasant email informing me that Amazon were charging me £15 for the non return of this film. Stating the terms and conditions I agreed to when I signed up. I am furious. The film was therefore sent to me in error and I am being charged for them sending it to me after i cancelled my subscription. I feel this is almost opportunistic.
I cannot get through via email, there isnt one. I cannot contact them via phone, their system is not taking calls, Amazon shop transferred me and I held for 20 minutes. How do I reason with a company to whom I can get no contact?
All of the means on their contact page are no use to dvd rental customers
