For some time I have had a regular requirement to geocode UK postcode data but due to the preventitive licensing model of the post office there arent many tools online to do this. However, a colleague stumbled accross this UK Postcode Geocoding tool which seems to deliver the holy grail of geocoding.

It not only handles UK geocoding data but USA, Europe and the rest of the world too. It takes text files and returns a parsed file with the latitude longitude data back. Awesome!
