I find myself strangely drawn to the Facebook application ok a regular basis. It offers a limited feature set compared with the website focusing on status updates and photos mainly, which is adequate.

It is a great tool for keeping in touch with you friends when away from your desktop computer. You can upload photos with utmost ease but there is no tagging feature which is a real shame. This is a missed opportunity as I feel many iPhone users use the app to submit pics straight as they are taken, tagging is one of the best facebook features.

To be honest I enjoy Twitter apps on the iPhone and feel they are better suited to the platform. The facebook app has not translated the facebook site onto the iPhone well. I visit the site after using the app and feel I have missed out on a lot. Huge opportunity for someone to write a better paid version and no doubt make a fortune. The api is there ready to exploit!
