George Ullrich, a Kendal bsaed free climber (climbing without ropes) is to attempt an ascent of a 1000m cliff in Sourh America in aid of a Nepal bsaed charity helping rescue children from trafficers.

As part of a team of 3 the main aim is to attempt a new free line on Cerro Catedral in Valle Frances. This 1000m beauty is reputed to have some of the best granite in the area and a myriad of possibilities for new lines.

When I last checked they had only raised just over £200! These guys are some of Britains best climbers supporting a very worthy cause risking their necks, please show your support by sponsoring via the link below.
