The momentum which Drupal has achieved over the last year is quiet overwhleming. It is easy to miss out on new and exciting modules. A commonly overseen feature on the Drupal site is the facility to view modules by date.
The SlideshowPro Flash Photo Gallery has always been one of the best and easily deployed photo galleries. It is wonderful to see that there is now a Drupal SlideshowPro module and it integrates directly into existing Drupal Galleries using the Gallery Module.

The Click to Bookmark drupal module enables you to maintain a list of nodes on a drupal site and displays a block of all the nodes you have bookmarked. An interesting idea for big sites, real estate sites for example.
I recently attended the Drupalcon in Barcelona where there was a presentation of the Google Summer of code projects from 2007. The SOC produces some superb opportunites for open source projects to support students financially who wish to develop code during their summer vacation. This year the Drupal Project had 20 students in the Summer of Code.
