The desktop version of Tweetdeck has long been a favourite of mine. It's capable presentation of live searches in multiple columns is a powerful function. For any heavy user of Twitter Tweetdeck is an enlightening tool making it possible to manage far greater volumes of messages.

I had my doubts when I first heard about Tweetdeck on the iPhone, but I can honestly say it is an inspired and faithfully port providing the most intuitive and feature rich app for Twitter on the iPhone platform.
